Ya just gotta git the stuff outta your head and onta the paper, dang it!  Ok, I finally met a goal today and did a rough draft.  There are drawings on the back of these too.  Only took about an hour, or less and these intial ideas will only take up a small portion of the 39 single pages (78 double sided) of my book.  Holy toledo Batman, what’s a girl going to do?  Longer connecting pipes perhaps, with all kinds of gizmo gazmos and whilly whirlies.  That ought to do it.

Mary’s Sun

I went through a difficult patch this year and came out looking at life in a different way.  During those days amongst the thorny thickets, a women with an infectious smile never spoke.  When Mary’s insides came out I took a deep breath, held it, and began to cry.  Others thought to make her smile a joke perhaps about the gray cloud above her head, but I knew, inside her smile was a cry for help.  Mary inspired me to create this gift for her.  Behind every gray cloud is a bright sun pushing forward to light the way.

No work on the book last night, or tonight.  Miss Allie aka Kinkachoo, aka Sweetie Pie, aka Baby is suffering from some sort of malady involving her ability to eat chow.  I’m keeping a close eye on her and called the vet.  Doc thinks it might be her teeth.  Little does Allie know, but a trip to her favorite person will happen Monday morning.

Yes Roger, this is Blogger 🙂

I’m tired tonight and lack energy, and motivation to work on my book.  It has nothing to do with hooking up with freinds at the Fu after work, really.

Instead, I checked Facebook, caught up on email, worked on a couple pictures, and of course …. this blog.

I finally figured out how to link my Flickr with Blogger.  Now I can slide show my photos …. yippee!

On another note, sometimes things just happen for a reason.

While at lunch, I read a magazine in the break room.  I’ve been formulating this idea for my book.  My theme, “Science Projects Gone Wrong.”  I was so thrilled to find an article supporting my idea.
